Air Tightness and Sound Quality

A building’s air tightness is its resistance to inward or outward air leakage in the dwelling whether that be from unintentional leakage points or areas within the build envelope. Too much air leakage results in a cold and draughty house which requires more energy and money to heat effectively.

Current regulations require that homes have under three air changes per square metre. What this means is that you have created an airtight envelope. Having a HRV system installed will give you control over the airflow in your home and therefore helps to maintain a comfortable and healthy living environment.

On top of this, our systems are designed to make as little noise as possible when they are working so you will hardly notice when your unit is turned on. If you aren’t sure then we have a video below demonstration just this!
